Mode of action
Topshot 60 OD is a combination of two active i.e. Cyhalofop Butyl and Penoxsulam with two different modes of action. Penoxaulam: Belongs to HRAC Group: B – Inhibition of acetolactate synthase ALS (acetohydroxyacid synthase AHAS).
Cyhalofop-butyl: Belongs to HRAC Group: A – Inhibition of acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase)
Cyhalofop-butyl is a systemic herbicide that interferes with fatty acid synthesis within grasses. By depriving the plant of needed lipids, cell division at the plant meristem is inhibited.
Application Rate

The crop should be from 2nd leaf up to the end of the tillering stage. Water and Dry seeded Rice Fields must be partially drained to expose weeds before application (Maximum of 4-5 cm water) but with most of the leaf surface out of the water. For best results, soil6 should be moist at application and maintain good soil moisture after application by flushing or rainfall until the establishment of permanent floods. Wait for at least 1-2 days before beginning the establishment of the permanent flood. |
PHI: 60 Days RE-ENTRY PERIOD: The sprayed field can be re-entered after the spray has dried.
