General Information
Codacide Oil is a naturally derived adjuvant for use with herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and biological products. It enhances spray efficacy by improving adhesion, spreading, uptake, and rainfastness of plant protection products (PPPs). It is suitable for use across various crops and has organic certification.
Mode of Action
Codacide Oil acts as a carrier that encapsulates each PPP molecule, forming a stable emulsion that improves delivery and uptake. Unlike other adjuvants that attempt to modify water, Codacide replaces water as the main carrier, reducing evaporation, drift, and wash-off. It improves the deposition and utilization of the pesticide on the target surface (leaf, insect, or fungus) without altering the chemical or biological action of the PPP.
Application Rates
| Crop | Target Control | Application Rate | Timing & Frequency of Application |
|---|---|---|---|
| All crops (including cereals, vegetables, fruits, and pulses) | Enhances performance of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and biologicals | 1–2.5 L per hectare depending on PPP rate and water volume. Do not exceed 0.25% v/v for spray volumes over 1,000 L/ha. | Pre-mix Codacide with the PPP before adding to water. Apply during normal spray schedule for the target PPP. Use higher rates where pest or disease pressure is high. |
Pre-harvest interval (PHI):
No harvest interval. Codacide is biodegradable and leaves no harmful residues.
